Markit
Fast, Distraction-Free Markdown Editor Built with Go & Wails

Modern text and note-taking apps have evolved into sluggish, multi-gigabyte Electron bloatware requiring mandatory accounts, cloud sync, and network connectivity, while consuming massive RAM just to edit plain text files.
Must cold-start in <1s, keep download size at ~10MB (0 Electron), run 100% locally with zero cloud dependencies, and guarantee user files never leave the device.
Built Markit with Go and Wails v2: a fast, distraction-free desktop Markdown editor for Windows & Linux. Delivers instant startup (<1s), side-by-side split-view live preview, dynamic document outline (H1-H6), fsnotify external file watching with smart conflict resolution (Reload, Save, Keep), native OS file dialogs, zoom controls (50% - 250%), quick search (Ctrl+F), and CLI startup support, with 0 Electron, no server, and no account.

High-concurrency web and Telegram MTProto microservices over MySQL transactional persistence
Student requests from low-bandwidth mobile devices ingress through either the web interface or lightweight Fastify Telegram bot. Requests route through custom PHP controllers, querying an in-house AI Gateway for instant tutoring explanations and persisting test session attempts into normalized MySQL tables.
Selected Go and Wails over Electron to produce a lightweight ~10MB installer with instant startup (<1s) and minimal system memory overhead.
Engineered with direct disk I/O, zero cloud sync, and no telemetry. User files strictly remain on the local machine.
Integrated Go fsnotify to monitor external file changes in real time, alerting users with conflict resolution options when files change outside the editor.
Engineered synchronized live rendering, click-to-scroll H1-H6 heading outlines, zoom controls (50% - 250%), and one-click switching between Edit, Split, and Preview modes.
